Lloyd Sterling pintail pair, Crisfield, MD

Beautiful gunning pair of American pintails circa 1920's by Lloyd Sterling of Crisfield, Maryland. Lloyd made these wonderful birds in the style of Lem & Steve Ward's humpback beaver tail pintails of the same time period.  Original paint with gunning wear. Some restoration to both birds on the tails and bills.  The hen is the only known example to exist and matches the drake perfectly. If you love early Maryland folk art, these pintails are for you!
